Answer: I have that router (although a different VPN router) and it needs IE9 or 10 to view the setup. IE 11 needs to be put in compatibility mode, and if I recall correctly, so did IE10. So the higher version of IE is probably at issue.

Answer: When you upgraded from Windows 8.0 to 8.1, did you uninstall Cisco AnyConnect completely and re-install completely, or is this the same configuration and software after Windows 8.1 upgrade?
If you did not do this, uninstall and re-install.

Question: I'm using Netgear Prosafe Pro VPN client software.
Everything seems to work OK except:
When the Windows firewall is turned on for either Public or Private networks, the ipsec VPN tunnel won't open up.
I'm not aware of any firewall settings that need to be addressed to make it work.
Can someone point me in the right direction with a URL or .... ?
